The M&A Team Leader will oversee and execute mergers and acquisitions projects within the financial services sector.
Description
The selected candidate will play a key role in developing new business and executing mandates by performing the following functions:
Participate in originating new business opportunities;
Establish contacts with mid-market corporations, C-suite executives and entrepreneurs;
Design, review and execute pitchbooks and proposals to potential clients;
Manage and execute M&A and capital markets mandates, all the while ensuring best practice standards in terms of quality, calendar, client service and compliance;
Cooperate with the senior management team in the training and development of the Corporate Finance team.
Profile
Previous experience in M&A, consulting, investment banking or transaction services;
Masters in Finance, Management or equivalent;
Strong commercial and entrepreneurial drive;
Solid analytical competences: financial modelling, valuation and M&A execution;
Clear and rigorous written and oral communication;
Proficiency in Portuguese and English;
