LOGISTIC & OPERATIONS SPECIALIST LISBON ON-SITE (PRESENCIAL)


We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual who thrives on making everything work faster and better - someone who is not only analytical and process-driven, but also hands-on and proactive when it comes to execution.


You'll work closely with company leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and play a critical role in keeping our customers transacting and earning money. This includes personally delivering and installing POS terminals when needed, offering on-the-ground support and acting as a direct bridge between Paybyrd and our clients.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-quality customer support through our main communication channels (email, phone, chat)
  • Ensure POS terminals are delivered, installed, and functioning correctly - often through in-person visits to client locations
  • Act as the go-to person for operational field execution, building strong relationships with clients through hands-on service and responsiveness
  • Inventory management: track stock levels, anticipate needs, and coordinate timely replenishments
  • Supply chain coordination: liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure efficient procurement and delivery
  • Delivery scheduling: guarantee timely, organized, and client-aligned delivery plans
  • POS maintenance and troubleshooting (software & hardware), including swaps and returns
  • Support administrative operations including documentation, data entry, order tracking, and logistics reporting
  • Monitor and optimize internal workflows to reduce delays, friction, or inefficiencies


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Academic background and/or relevant experience in Operations, Logistics, Management, or Social Sciences
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation skills
  • Hands-on mentality - comfortable with fieldwork, warehouse visits, and client site visits
  • Previous experience in customer support and/or logistics roles, ideally within fintech, retail tech, or similar fast-paced environments
  • Technically inclined, with the ability to troubleshoot POS devices and basic hardware/software issues
  • Experience or aptitude for working in agile and constantly evolving environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English
  • Valid driving license (mandatory) and availability to travel locally for deliveries and support
