Your New Company 
International Insurance company. In Portugal, the IT team acts as a Competence Centre, developing and maintaining systems and infrastructures. This team collaborates closely with the teams in France and Spain to create solutions that support the business worldwide. Applications are customised by the specialist teams, covering everything from solution architecture, security, performance and cloud development.

Your New Mission 

 

• Manage the operational performance of Cloud services provided to customers.
• Ensure the quality of services provided by the external provider (KPI, SLA).
• Maintain close contact with regional stakeholders to ensure proper activity management.
• Contribute to incident resolution related to CSP/MPI Provisioning.
• Coordinate with the product delivery team to align CSP/Operations Provisioning needs.

• Management and Coordination:
  • Act as the main contact for operational topics related to CSP/Provisioning.
  • Participate in operational governance with external partners and regions.
  • Represent Operations in the introduction of new CSP/Provisioning functionalities.
  • Identify and create test cases for the QA team and review regression tests.

• Continuous Improvement:
  • Propose evolutions and improvements in processes and services.
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of the CSP and Provisioning contract.
  • Support management with technical information for operational decisions.

• Training and Documentation:
  • Organize training on CSP for operations teams.
  • Responsible for reporting and monitoring the CSP metrics dashboard.
  • Create and update documentation for operations and end users.

• Governance and Communication:
  • Lead operational governance and manage short- and medium-term development.
  • Approve RCAs and analyze change requests from the Change Advisory Board.
  • Represent the Global IaaS Operations team on all CSP/Provisioning matters

What you need to be succeed

• Experience in a system administrator role
• Experience  using AWS or AZURE public cloud services
• Experience in using the Agile methodology
• Solid multidisciplinary technical knowledge and expertise in different domains, such as security, networking, multi-tier infrastructure, databases, integration and application platforms
• Experience in infrastructure as code, along with knowledge of automating environments for provisioning, upgrades, deployment and on-demand operations for environments (Terraform with AWS or AZURE).
• Knowledge of all cloud offerings on the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures
• IaaC and DevOps (Terraform Enterprise, AWS Code Commit and CodeDeploy or Azure Cloud pipelines)
• CSP specialist / architect certifications (AWS or AZURE Cloud)
• Basic knowledge of Cyberark, Puppet, Dynatrace
• Good aptitude for managing relationships with a large number of stakeholders
• Ability to manage international teams and multicultural environments
• Excellent and clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simpler language
• Flexible and available in case of exceptional events
