Description:

Are you a promising talent in finance with sharp analytical skills and a passion for numbers? We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to provide comprehensive financial assistance and support to the business, ensuring that all areas of finance are covered, from management and financial reporting to oversight of accounts payable and payroll, as well as other areas more specific to the brokerage industry such as regulatory reporting and client money. Your ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights will be key to our organization's success.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of periodic financial reports.

Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Support in the regulatory reporting of an investment firm to CMVM and tax authorities.

Helping to liaise with accountancy consultants and auditors (external and internal).

Oversight of accounts payable process.

Process the daily client money reconciliations.

Give assistance on management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.

Help build relationships with banking and payment service providers.

Provide inputs on the enhancement of finance processes and controls, including policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.

At least 1-2 years professional experience covering one or more of the following areas: accounting, audit, business management, financial analysis.

Business proficient in English

Proficient at Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to produce accurate work on time (tight deadlines).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Awareness of Money Laundering Regulations.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
