We are recruiting a Data Engineer to join a leading team in the automotive technology sector, supporting the expansion of advanced data, analytics, and AI capabilities across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into structured, reliable information that supports strategic decisionmaking and advanced AI initiatives.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for analytics and machine learning use cases.
- Build and optimize data models and datasets for Power BI.
- Implement and monitor data governance, quality, and data standards.
- Support AI/ML teams by providing clean, structured data and assisting in feature engineering.
- Analyze production data to reduce noise and improve system performance.
- Contribute to data observability practices by helping define what data should be collected.
- Collaborate with data, AI, testing, DevOps, and observability teams to ensure scalable, highquality solutions.
What we are looking for
- Academic background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong experience with Power BI and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline best practices.
- Handson experience with Microsoft Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Python or another scripting language.
- Experience working with production data and supporting AI/Machine Learning projects.
- Familiarity with data observability tools or methodologies.
- Azure or Power BI certifications (considered a plus).
- Experience with DevOps/CI/CD applied to data pipelines (valued).
