We are a cutting-edge fintech company transforming how people invest in private markets. Our platform simplifies and centralizes the entire investment lifecycle, offering an end-to-end solution that integrates legal, tax, and compliance workflows into one seamless experience. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a passionate Backend Developer to help us drive innovation and technical excellence.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems: Develop and optimize backend services using Node.js with Nest.js on TypeScript to create high-performance, scalable applications.
• Database Management: Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using MySQL.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage backend services using Kubernetes (K8S) on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve our GitHub-based source control and CI/CD processes.
• Integration: Work with third-party applications such as FusionAuth for authentication, Twilio and SendGrid for SMS and email services, Retool for low-code internal solutions, and Tally for creating custom forms.
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the architecture, performance, and maintainability of our systems.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a backend developer, with a focus on Node.js and TypeScript. Familiarity with Nest.js and MySQL is a plus.
• Tech Stack Knowledge: Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8S) and AWS for cloud infrastructure management.
• Database Design: Proficient in database design and optimization, particularly with MySQL.
• CI/CD: Experience with GitHub and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Fast learner & problem solver: Passion for continuous learning and solving complex technical challenges.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, highly collaborative environment.
• Ownership: Ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with FusionAuth for authentication integration.
• Familiarity with Twilio or SendGrid for SMS/email functionality.
• Experience with Retool or other low-code platforms.
• Knowledge of Tally or similar tools for form creation.
• A strong interest in fintech, finance, or legal tech.
