Java Software Engineer

Location: Remote - Portugal

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, reusable, and testable software components for scalable backend services using Java.
• Collaborate with the team to plan, refine, and improve development processes using agile methodologies.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues proactively while working in a collaborative environment.
• Mentor and empower team members by enhancing their technical knowledge, confidence, and communication skills.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to company-wide technology decisions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Spring/Spring Boot framework
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Proficiency in working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience building highly scalable, high-performance backend services
• Ability to work independently in an agile environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges effectively
