The Opportunity

Are you ready to shape the future of global FX markets? Join eXalt-FI, a cutting-edge financial technology consulting firm, supporting a top-5 European banking institution's FX eTrading division. You'll architect and optimize low-latency multithreaded systems that drive billions in daily trading volume across London, New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. What You'll Do

• Design & develop robust, low-latency multithreaded pricing engines for Spot and Forward FX trading

• Collaborate directly with traders, front office teams, and research groups in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment

• Enhance & modernize existing pricing systems, integrating cutting-edge low-latency architectures and technologies

• Optimize performance of real-time trading connectivity and execution systems serving 100+ traders across 5 global hubs

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous technical excellence and knowledge sharing

• Drive innovation in front-office systems supporting billions in daily transaction volume

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Java development skills with proven hands-on experience in multithreaded systems

• Professional background in FX/FWD trading systems OR high-performance, low-latency environments

• Computer Science degree or equivalent professional experience

• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in collaborative, trader-facing roles

• Passion for performance and continuous technical improvement

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with C++ or C#

• Proven track record delivering front-office systems in investment banking

• Knowledge of FX market microstructure and trading workflows
