We are looking for a Java Developer - Frontend (Fullstack) French speaker to join a strategic project focused on the redesign of key logistics systems, including Warehouse Management (WMS) and Transport Management (TMS). The existing platform, built on a legacy Java portal, is being migrated to a modern architecture based on React.js and NextJS.
This is a hands-on development role, with opportunities to contribute to technical decisions, propose modern tools and frameworks, and support the technical evolution of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the redevelopment of WMS/TMS systems using modern frameworks
- Develop responsive, scalable front-end components with React.js and NextJS
- Support backend integration and development using Java and Web Services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying outdated technologies and suggesting alternatives
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Support testing, deployment, and monitoring activities
- Optionally, provide guidance to junior developers and contribute to team development
Tech Stack:
- Frontend: React.js, NextJS, Angular
- Backend: Java, Web Services, API Management, Messaging Brokers
- Database & Search: SQL, ElasticSearch
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fullstack or Frontend Developer
- French B2 and Portuguese B2 minimum
- Strong knowledge of React.js and NextJS
- Experience with Java and backend API integration
- Solid understanding of SQL and web application architecture
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid team setup
- Experience in the logistics or transport sector is a plus
- Proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to architecture and process improvements
