Your new role
As an IT Systems Product Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of software products, acting as the bridge between business, customers and technical teams. This is a strategic and hands-on role, combining product management, project oversight and a growing focus on business development. In this role, you will:- Define and manage the product roadmap, aligning solutions with market needs and business strategy.
- Gather and translate customer and market requirements into product evolution and enhancements.
- Act as the main interface between customers and development teams, ensuring alignment between custom projects and core product strategy.
- Support and oversee client-driven projects (customisations), ensuring proper integration into the broader product ecosystem.
- Contribute to technology decisions, helping define the evolution of the product stack.
- Build strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Support pre-sales activities and solution positioning alongside commercial teams.
- Contribute to the development of the systems business, with a medium-term path towards business development responsibilities.
- Lead functional areas (e.g. support, QA, development), coordinating team leads and driving performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Academic background in Technology, Engineering or other related fields.
- At least 3 years' experience as a Product Manager.
- Proven experience in Product and/or Project management within systems, technology or integration environments.
- Strong understanding of information systems, solution design and technical environments.
- Experience managing projects end-to-end, including planning, execution and risk management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach and results orientation.
