Your new role
As an IT Strategic Provider Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, governing and enhancing the company’s relationships with its most important global IT partners. Operating at strategic level, you will:
- Lead the management and development of key strategic partnerships across a diverse international IT provider landscape.
- Own and drive strategic governance by defining partner strategies, policies and processes to ensure world-class global service delivery.
- Build and nurture partner ecosystems and communities, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Develop provider strategies fully aligned with global business priorities and ensure their effective implementation.
- Support the full procurement lifecycle including RfPs, proposal evaluations, provider selection and performance steering.
- Conduct and synthesise high-level briefings for the CIO and Management Board, producing concise 360º insights that drive informed executive decision-making.
- Act as the key bridge between the company and external strategic partners, understanding both the internal demands and the external provider landscape.
- Analyse complex, multidimensional information (cost, value, revenue impact) and translate it into actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal teams across governance, CTM, procurement and operational areas to ensure strategic alignment.
- Support and prepare biannual top-level strategic review meetings with critical partners, shaping the storyline and agenda.
What you’ll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics or a related IT-focused field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in IT, business development, consulting or similar strategic environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships across functions, geographies and seniority levels.
- Strong background working with IT suppliers, global technology providers or large integrators.
- Experience operating in highly international settings, collaborating across cultures and time zones.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Solid understanding of IT services, SLAs, information security requirements (ISEC) and modern digital landscapes (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Ability to extract insights from complex datasets and convert them into clear, strategic guidance for executive stakeholders.
- Proven capability to build networks, lead communities and manage strategic partnerships.
- Critical thinking, analytical rigour and the ability to synthesise complex content into concise, executive-ready storylines.
