Your new role
As an IT Product Owner – ePayments, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the digital payment solutions. You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the integration of new functionalities, maintaining a clear product roadmap, and improving the user experience. You will focus on optimising ePayment platforms, managing backlogs, and ensuring smooth product delivery across digital channels, including APIs and web interfaces.

  • Own and manage the product backlogs and roadmap for ePayment functionalities, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.
  • Coordinate and implement new ePayment features and functionalities, ensuring smooth integration across various platforms such as Web, EDI, and APIs.
  • Ensure functional consistency and maintain the technical integrity of the product across all channels.
  • Effectively communicate new features, product changes, and updates to Professional Services, Sales, and Customer Support teams.
  • Gather and define business requirements from stakeholders, transforming them into actionable user stories, epics, and tasks within the backlog.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and project steering committees to ensure product progress.
  • Oversee and manage the product acceptance phases, ensuring all deliverables meet the required quality and functionality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Department in the successful industrialisation and roll-out of new payment modules, including support, training, and marketing processes.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Solid background in ePayments or similar digital payment systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to rapidly understand business strategies, organisational needs, and challenges.
  • Ability to present and defend your proposals, convincing stakeholders and ensuring team alignment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks; a Product Owner certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Web/Digital technologies and payment solutions.
  • Sensitivity to user experience (UX) and design ergonomics.
  • Experience working in international, multicultural teams, understanding global market needs and regulatory requirements.
