Responsibilities and Objectives
- Assess departmental needs,
identify vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and
accuracy to support business decisions.
- Ensure seamless
integration of technology components to meet business needs, utilising
their full abilities and staying informed about new features and
competitor solutions.
- Continuously analyse
processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare cost-benefit
analyses for necessary upgrades and monitor vendors to ensure optimal
service and value for business needs.
- Develop training plans for
employees to use software and hardware, troubleshoot issues, and provide
technical support as needed.
- Develop and implement
disaster recovery plans and maintain data backups in coordination with IT
Security teams.
- Ensure IT activities
comply with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Manage critical IT tasks
and systems administration.
- Track and maintain
hardware and software inventory.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science,
MIS, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT
Manager or in a relevant role for at least 5 years.
- Excellent knowledge of
technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software
systems.
- Expertise in data centres
management and data governance.
- Hands-on experience with
computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication
skills.
