We are looking for an Support IT Office!


Mission & Profile: The profile we are looking it is with an experience on second level support position (Application support) where the technician had to research by himself and contact different colleagues from different department for achieve the resolution. Here we are looking someone end user focused, motivated, and proactive. He must understand all the different applications we use on Zeiss and how they are interconnected (we are talking about a basic 1st level support) in order to route the tickets to the correct teams and provide clear information. Bellow in the "main tasks" is the basic knowledge that the candidate should have, that will cover the 60-70 % of his daily task.


Responsabilities:

  • Expertise on Hardware Diagnose and Installation.
  • Mobile device support (IOS & Android).
  • Operative Systems installation and setup.
  • Printer management-print servers (able to install printers by network on a print server and map the printer on end user computers).
  • Handheld devices and RS232 devices installation and configuration (barcode readers, thermal printers, PDA's, etc).
  • Inventory management (Guarantee and control that all IT Assets and inventory).
  • Manage and coordinate all internal IT projects (External providers or / and internal business units).
  • Setup and maintaining of new Soft- & Hardware in deep alignment with Global IT 9. Used to work on a ticketing system (Service Now, Jira, Mantis, etc).
  • Setup of Server environment (Windows + Linux).
  • Able to work with different providers to prepare quotations, new/renew contracts etc.
  • Train End-Users 13. Having experience with SAP or ERP systems (1st level support) is a huge plus. 14. Be a backup for other locations on Iberia (PT ES).
  • Organization and keep tracking of daily tasks and priorities.
  • Work as a team 17. Process Improvement participation 18. Follow superior directions without supervision need 19. Provide feedback with accuracy and property about reque.
  • Follow implemented procedures.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in general technical support with ability to understand business processes.
  • School/Academic Qualifications: Degree in Systems Information, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or similar studies Specific technical knowledge.
  • Experience with Windows and iOS Mobile operating systems Pack Office minimum 2 years.
  • Experience with SQL SERVERS, SQL queries, Microsoft SQL 2016 and newer versions. Valuable knowledge in SAP.
  • Confidentiality on the role: On all IT projects and demands, company strategic decisions, IT area KPI's and resources.
  • Good level of english.
