We are looking for a IT Functional Analyst who is willing to relocate to join our Client's team in Brussels, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation Phase:

• Collaborate with the business analyst and client to identify problems and propose alternative solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and strategy, considering cost-benefit analysis.
• Ensure client alignment with enterprise rules and standards, including architectural and security guidelines.
• Work with architects to establish solution architecture.
• Maintain close collaboration with project managers, asset managers, and product owners.
• Act as the liaison between the client, business analyst, and involved asset teams, ensuring all IT stakeholders understand client needs.

Elaboration Phase:

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements and functional responsibilities for each asset.
• Design the solution, detailing impacts on application components according to the architecture.
• Specify requirements for technical teams and coordinate alignment across all stakeholders.

Construction Phase:

• Monitor the development process to ensure alignment with functional specifications.
• Define technical components such as queues, security, and integration layers.
• Assist suppliers with development and integration testing (I&AT).
• Analyze and resolve defects during test phases.
• Support release and deployment teams through various environments.

Post-Implementation:

• Provide support for operational entities and helpdesks after deployment.
• Analyze production incidents and oversee their resolution.
• Maintain and update solution documentation as necessary.

In an agile environment, preparation, elaboration, and construction phases are integrated into sprints.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in functional and technical roles.
• Proven functional and technical knowledge of IT systems.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in Java and APIs.
• Background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) topics.
• Familiarity with BPM and UML (e.g., sequence diagrams).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional and agile environment.
