The IT Applications Owner is a key figure on the IT ecosystem of this company. It relates to activities such as overseeing and managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of a set of IT applications related to Real Estate and Engineering Processes. Based in Porto, and integrated in a global team, this role is crucial for ensuring the technology systems align with the company's operational goals.

Description

• Responsible for successful operation the assigned software applications;
• Gather business requirements by understanding the business processes and transfer requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage external service providers for further software implementation and maintenance.
• Oversee the end-to-end implementations of the software roll out including integration with third party systems (if necessary), data migration, testing, training, change management and security.
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Providing training and knowledge transfer to the support organisation for on-going support.

Profile

A successful IT Applications Manager should have:

• Minimum 3 years experience as Application Owner, Product Owner, IT Business Analyst, Application Administrator, Project Manager, Requirements Engineer, Configuration Manager or Test Manager.
• Knowledgeable of application life cycle management and application support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience of working on challenging and complex projects, including managing external vendors or service providers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and moderation skills with various groups of stakeholders, namely on a multicultural and multi functional teams and projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
