Private Equity Analyst

Role Overview
The Private Equity Analyst supports the investment team across the full investment lifecycle, including deal origination, financial analysis, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial rigor, and a hands-on mindset.
Key Responsabilities
- Analyze potential investment opportunities (LBO, growth, minority and majority investments)
- Build and maintain financial models (3-statement models, LBOs, scenarios, sensitivities)
- Perform valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions)
- Support financial, commercial, and operational due diligence processes
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee
- Assist in transaction execution, including deal structuring and closing
- Monitor portfolio companies financial and operational performance
- Support value creation initiatives and exit analyses
- Contribute to deal sourcing, market research, and sector analysis
Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or Engineering (Masters preferred)
- 14 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Valuation, or Strategy Consulting
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
- Solid understanding of accounting and corporate finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English and Portuguese
