• We are looking for an experienced Senior Insurance Accountant.

Description

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting data under FGAAP and IFRS;
• Perform account analysis and justification within the assigned scope;
• Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for accounting processes;
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect inputs and align information;
• Conduct financial analyses and present clear conclusions;
• Identify improvement opportunities and follow up on their implementation;
• Contribute to quarterly closings under local GAAP and IFRS;
• Review and control Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts;
• Validate the quality of financial data;
• Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Actuarial, and Internal Control.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field
• 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting
• Experience with IFRS standards (especially IFRS 9 and IFRS 17 preferred)
• Familiarity with accounting tools such as SAP, Oracle, CODA, or similar
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Fluent in English (mandatory); French is a strong plus
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented
