Your new RoleThe Solution Owner, Planning Products will play a critical role in providing technology solution leadership for the Planning product platforms, from concept to retirement of all related systems. This role will ensure the development and execution of a solution strategy and roadmap that aligns with strategic business priorities.
This person will collaborate with Executives, Senior Leaders, and practitioners in HAVI Technology and Supply Chain Global Planning and Analytics to foster excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement across all solution and product management activities.
This position will lead a global team, comprising internal staff and external partners, including Solution Analysts and cross-functional resources, to ensure successful management of the solution/product life cycle, adherence to governance, promotion of best practices, and maintenance of operational cadence across all initiatives.
As a Solution Owner, Planning Products you will be responsible for:
Solution Leadership
Develop and execute strategies for Planning Processes, managing the solution/product life cycle from strategy to retirement;
Provide leadership and oversight for end-to-end delivery of solution/product management, including project management, release management, and transition to production operation;
Define and maintain a solution capability roadmap;
Ensure effective solution adoption and user experience at cluster/market levels, supporting Data & Analytics organizations to deliver BI solutions;
Operationalize innovation solutions in the Planning process areas post-incubation and prototyping;
Establish and manage solution metrics, tracking, reporting, and driving continuous improvements;
Ensure compliance with security policies, collaborating with Information Security and Infrastructure Architects to optimize performance and cost.
Financial Management:
Manage solution/product financials and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), working with IT Controlling to budget, forecast, and deliver P&L results;
Implement cost control measures and optimize cloud and infrastructure usage with proper tracking, visibility, and control.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Manage Executive and Senior stakeholder expectations;
Lead and participate in Project/Product Boards to steer product/solution delivery execution;
Align with Solution Owners to understand interdependencies between solutions and support a consolidated Planning Roadmap.
Team Coordination:
Manage and develop talents, identifying and solving gaps in skills and resources;
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
What you will need to be suceed10+ years of experience in IT Product & Service Development, with strong Product/ Project Management, and technology delivery leadership:
- 5+ years in strategy development and execution of technology roadmap and product life cycle management in the SCM/Planning domain
- 5+ years in driving transformational organizational and technology change within IT solution/product delivery functions;
Strong knowledge of Data engineering concepts (Data Integration, Data Architecture and Data Modeling) and designing/building solutions with Cloud/On-Prem Technologies and DevOps toolchain implementation;
Experience leading multicultural teams using delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps);
Ability to influence Senior market and functional colleagues to develop effective technology product strategies;
Steer the planning and execution of critical product development and deployment;
Build trust and credibility within the Finance function and GPA leadership, fostering a "one team" spirit;
Proficiency working with Oracle and Azure technologies (ADF, Databricks, etc.);
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks;
Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
