We are currently recruiting an IFRS Expert- Senior Accountant to join a multinational client, within a banking business segment, operating in a modern and growing Shared Services environment, with offices in Maia.

 

You will be part of an international and collaborative setting, with exposure to multiple geographies and stakeholders, where you will have a direct impact on the quality of financial information. You will work in a European context, with exposure to different financial realities, where your IFRS expertise is not just valued, it is critical.

 

 

  Your impact on a daily basis

• Manage accounting for European entities with a strong focus on financial instruments

• Ensure balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and certifications under IFRS and local GAAP

• Analyze and validate P&L in collaboration with Controlling

• Work closely with international stakeholders including Accounting, Back and Middle Office, and Auditors

• Identify discrepancies, support intercompany validation and contribute to process improvements

 

 

What is essential for your success

• Solid experience in IFRS (mandatory)

• Background in financial services or banking (preferred)

• Good level of English

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data
