The Role - Host/Hostess

As a Host/Hostess at Paradigma, you are the first point of contact with our guests, setting the tone for the entire experience from the moment they arrive.

You are responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow between the entrance and the floor. It's about being present, attentive, and organised, while creating a natural and welcoming atmosphere.

This role requires someone who understands that first impressions matter and that good service starts before guests even sit down.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Welcoming guests in a warm, confident and genuine way
• Managing reservations and walk-ins with organisation and attention
• Handling phone calls and enquiries clearly and professionally
• Coordinating table allocation and supporting the flow of service
• Communicating closely with the floor team to ensure smooth operations
• Managing waiting times and guest expectations with care
• Maintaining a calm and organised entrance area
• Supporting the overall guest experience from arrival to departure

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role is valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments
• Organised, attentive, and detail-oriented
• Calm under pressure and solution-focused
• Well-presented and confident in guest interaction
• Familiarity with reservation platforms is a plus
• Fluent in Portuguese and English are (other languages are a plus)
