Oversee and manage all legal affairs

Principais responsabilidades

• Provide proactive, high-quality legal counsel to management and stakeholders, develop legal strategies that support business objectives and risk management;
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to ensure compliance, manage disputes and regulatory matters with external advisors, oversee global compliance programs, and support corporate governance activities, including board meetings and shareholder agreements;
• Collaborate with various departments to provide comprehensive legal advice on employment law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and tax issues;
• Work closely with HR on labor relations and manage contracts with specific partners;
• Engagewithexternalpartnersandregulatorybodies to protectandeffectivelyrepresentthecompany's legal interests;
• Lead and develop the legal function by managing external counsels.

Perfil desejado

• Master's degree in Law;
• A minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role;
• Extensive expertise in corporate and commercial law, ideally within a multinational company;
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is highly valued;
• Membership of the Portuguese bar association is mandatory;
• Advanced level of English and Portuguese;
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, strategic mindset, and the ability to manage complex legal matters;
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
