Descrição da Função

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering department. You'll provide strategic leadership, guiding the team through the development of innovative solutions. You will work closely with product, design, and other teams to ensure the technical strategy aligns with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in backend, mobile, and cloud systems, as well as leadership experience to foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a growing team of engineers, setting clear goals and expectations
• Oversee the development and execution of the technical strategy across the frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure high-quality code and best practices
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance within the engineering team
• Collaborate closely with the product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentor and support engineers, ensuring their professional growth and success
• Manage project timelines and prioritize engineering resources for optimal output
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the team is leveraging the latest tools and frameworks

Requirements:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Languages & Tech:
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
• Expertise in Native iOS and Android for mobile app development
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Soft Skills:
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Proven leadership abilities, including team management and mentorship
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to drive complex technical initiatives
• Ability to create and sustain a positive, high-energy work culture
