Your new Role
The Global Marketing Segment Manager – Skin Care will play a central role within the Personal Care business segment, leading the definition, execution, and acceleration of Global growth strategies. This is a highly strategic and influential Global role, focused on identifying Market opportunities, driving innovation, and aligning regional execution with Global priorities.
This person will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Portfolio and Pricing management, Sales, R&D/Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing communications, as well as with peers across regions, to support the Company’s strategic growth platforms.
The Global Marketing Segment Manager – Skin Care will:
- Develop and deploy the Global segment strategic plan based on Market research, competitive analysis, and growth opportunity identification;
- Translate Global strategy into actionable regional go-to-Market plans, including application, geography, and customer segmentation;
- Define compelling value propositions and establish differentiated segment positioning;
- Shape and lead the segment innovation pipeline, including product and service development aligned with customer needs and industry trends;
- Drive commercialization strategies for new products in collaboration with cross-functional teams;
- Establish segment positioning and ensure consistent internal and external communication;
- Define promotion strategies, including advertising, trade shows, and industry engagement;
- Equip sales teams with the tools, training, and insights needed to succeed;
- Ensure execution of Global and regional growth plans, defining KPIs, timelines, and targets;
- Monitor performance and adjust strategies based on Market dynamics and business results.
A typical day will involve leading strategic initiatives, aligning stakeholders across functions and regions, analyzing Market trends, supporting innovation projects, and ensuring execution excellence to drive sustainable business growth.
Please consider that this role requires availability for regular international travel – approximately 40% of the time per year.
What you will need to succeed
As a Global Marketing Segment Manager – Skin Care, you will need:
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field;
- +10 years of experience in Multinational environments, across Technology, Sales, Marketing, or business roles;
- 5 years of experience working in B2B Marketing;
- Proven experience developing and executing strategic plans and delivering profitable growth;
- Experience in Personal Care or Chemical Industries (would be a plus);
- Experience in Market Research, Customer Segmentation, and translating insights into actionable strategies;
- Strong understanding of product development processes and segment strategy design;
- Strong analytical, financial, and Data-Driven decision-making skills, combined with creativity and customer focus;
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align long-term vision with execution;
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Global and cross-functional teams;
- Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
