Your New Role
We are looking for a German-speaking Accounts Receivable Specialist to join an international finance team, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer accounts for German-speaking markets, including invoice processing, monitoring open items and performing reconciliations.
- Conducting proactive collections activities, contacting customers to secure timely payments and resolving overdue situations.
- Handling customer queries professionally and supporting the resolution of disputes or discrepancies.
- Performing accurate cash application, account allocation and correction postings.
- Supporting month-end closing, reporting tasks and compliance procedures.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data in ERP systems.
- Maintaining strong communication with internal teams, such as Credit Management, O2C, Billing and Customer Service.
- Preparing reports and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- Fluency in German (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Good level of English, as it will be the main working language.
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, O2C or other Finance/Administrative roles.
- Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence in communicating with customers and handling sensitive financial matters.
- Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a strong plus.
- Educational background in Finance, Business, Economics or similar (preferred but not mandatory).
