• We are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant.

Description

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and provisions, ensuring the accurate maintenance of the General Ledger.
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Manage and monitor fixed asset accounting activities, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with finance teams and international stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
• Provide support for internal and external audits, as well as continuous improvement initiatives and Record-to-Report process optimization.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
