Our mission is to create amazing and unique products customized for each market segment.
We have released more than 250 game titles and currently have over 100.000 boards on the market, across several countries. We are also very proud of developing our own rock solid gaming computers and hardware in general.
In Portugal, our office is located in Porto near NorteShopping and we currently have incredible minds in our Team.
We are opening a new position in the Systems and R&D Team for a Full Stack Systems Engineer.
As a Full Stack Systems Engineer,
What you will do:
- Maintain and develop new features to our multi-platform game engine
- Develop and integrate new APIs and technologies
- Create innovative tools and technology to be used in the game development
- Make the bridge between the hardware and software (microcontrollers, firmwares, etc )
- Continuously optimize and improve both engine and overall system performance, load times and memory usage
- Solve problems in a creative, pragmatic and consequent way
- Interface with other teams (game developers, graphic designers, marketers, etc)
The candidate must have:
- Good understanding of object-oriented languages (C# and C++)
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Solid technical base and work ethics
- Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel abroad
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Experience in Software design and common design patterns
- Ability to write high-performance, robust and reliable code
- Interest in breaking/debugging things at a very low level if necessary
Nice to have:
- Experience with electronics and microcontrollers
- Experience in development for web/mobile platforms in HTML5, JavaScript
- Knowledge/Experience with game engine architecture concepts and computer graphics
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
