Position Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. You will be an early shaper of the design and architecture of the front-end and how it interacts with our core platform, and work closely with the founding team to deliver 10x value to our clients.

As an early-stage startup, we pride ourselves on our ability to roll up our sleeves and build from scratch. We will be shipping code frequently and learning as we go while satisfying all critical security, performance, and uptime requirements for our clients.

As one of the first engineering hires, you'll have the opportunity to shape both the product and the engineering culture. You should be ready to move fast, embrace uncertainty, and wear different hats.

Responsibilities

• Design the core of OUR platform by building a robust, secure, and resilient data ingestion layer
• Deliver customer-facing APIs and a UI Portal for a self-service product
• Architect and build scalable, performant UIs using Next.js (React + SSR/ISR) and Tailwind CSS
• Implement efficient data fetching strategies with React Query / SWR
• Impact and shape the engineering culture by continuously improving software engineering practices and processes

Qualifications

• Effective and self-driven builder
• 5+ years of experience building full-stack applications with modern web technologies: Next.js (React + SSR/ISR), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and React Query/SWR
• 5+ years of experience building and owning a complete end-to-end technology stack (Backend, Frontend, CI/CD, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting)
• 3+ years of Python familiarity
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent: AWS, Azure)
• Experience in designing customer-facing RESTful APIs and asynchronous architectures (e.g. queues, pub/sub, lambdas, webhooks)
• Strong experience with relational database modelling (using PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, such as DevOps, and CI/CD
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
• Work authorization in Portugal

It would be a plus if you have

• Experience writing web scrapers
• Experience working with mocking, stubbing, and snapshot testing
• Familiarity with Playwright, Vitest, and Zustand
