We are recruiting a FullStack Developer to join a leading team in the automotive technology sector, contributing to the design, standardization, and evolution of an Android Automotive Apps Marketplace in a fastmoving, global environment.

 

Lisbon (hybrid model)

Direct contract with the client

 

What you will do

  • Design and implement scalable features for the app marketplace, including partner dashboards, APIs, app listing tools, and userfacing components.
  • Build and maintain RESTful and/or RPC APIs to support thirdparty integrations and vehicle data services.
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Partner Success Managers to understand requirements and deliver highquality features on time.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with solid test coverage; participate in code reviews and follow best practices in version control, CI/CD, and security.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and drive improvements in both frontend and backend layers.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, automotive APIs (telematics, vehicle data platforms), and propose enhancements to the stack and development workflow.

 

What we are looking for

  • 3 years of fullstack development experience in a productdriven environment.
  • Strong experience with objectoriented PHP using frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Expertise in building rich, responsive frontends using TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS.
  • Proven ability to deliver features from concept to deployment in fastpaced environments.
  • Experience with Redis and Elasticsearch (a plus).
  • Experience with developer platforms, app marketplaces, or API ecosystems (a plus).
  • Familiarity with automotive APIs, connected vehicle platforms, or IoT integrations (highly valued).
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and crossfunctional teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalente experience.
