The Product Owners Lead will lead a team of Product Owners responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions within our Financial Services industry. This role requires a strong understanding of product management and a proven ability to align strategic objectives with market customer needs.

Description

• Lead and manage a team of product owners to ensure seamless delivery of technology projects.
• Align product strategies with organizational goals and customer expectations in the retail industry.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technology, business, and other teams.
• Define and prioritize product backlogs to optimize project outcomes.
• Monitor project performance and implement improvements based on data and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for product management.
• Act as a point of escalation for resolving challenges and removing roadblocks.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth.

Profile

A successful Manager of Product Owners should have:

• Proven experience in product management, ideally within the Banking, Financial or Fintech.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools (namely SAFe).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in Porto.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
