The Role
We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and business-oriented Financial Business Partner to support and challenge strong financial performance and informed decision-making across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who combines solid financial controlling fundamentals with a strong interest in partnering with the business, translating numbers into insights, and supporting operational teams in achieving their goals.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, acting as a trusted finance partner while contributing hands-on to core controlling activities. The role offers responsibility, and the opportunity to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a finance partner to business teams, monitoring performance and explaining variances.
- Prepare financial analyses, KPIs, and dashboards to support management decisions.
- Support cost control, profitability analysis, and business cases.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and management reporting.
- Contribute to improving financial processes, reporting quality, and data accuracy.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve financial awareness and accountability across the organization.
Your Profile
- 2+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with good understanding of financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel, BI Tools and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to business partnering or operational finance in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience in a growing or international company (biotech, life sciences is a plus)
- Interest in understanding the business behind the numbers.
