Finance Operations Analyst - permanent role - Remote (Portugal based) - €35-45,000 per annum base + benefits
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations Analyst to join our Finance team within the Employee Experience sector. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance and accounting, coupled with excellent analytical skills to manage end-to-end financial processes and deliver insightful reporting on multi-stakeholder projects.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Financial Processes:
- Manage financial processes for multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather and analyse financial data.
Project Reporting and Budget Management:
- Develop structured, insight-driven reports tailored for operational audiences.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Analytical Acumen:
- Distill large datasets into clear, actionable insights.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to project margins and financial performance.
Accounting and Cash Management:
- Apply grounding in accounting principles to support cash management controls.
- Oversee month-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Required experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project finance or financial analysis.
- Strong command of financial reporting tools and techniques.
- Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and cash management controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and financial modelling; experience with financial reporting software is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
