• Oversee financial planning, reporting and management of financial resources within the organisation;
• Manage a team based in Portugal and UK.

Description

• Prepare and review consolidated monthly and annual financial statements and management reports;
• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in coordination with country heads;
• Conduct monthly financial forecasting;
• Prepare and present financial reports for management, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling;
• Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs;
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions to ensure efficient cash management;
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee tax preparation and annual accounts filing in multiple countries;
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies across the organisation;
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team for decision-making;
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of finance professionals.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, using multiple currencies and preparing consolidation preferably in a corporate environment;
• Previous work experience in UK (mandatory);
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements;
• Proficiency in a financial software (Xero and Syft are of advantage) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
• Excellent analytic, organisational, and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly;
• High-level proficiency in English (mandatory).
