Description

• Lead all Finance activities, including statutory accounting, tax, audit, compliance, internal controls, and Group reporting.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cash flow, working capital management, and financial performance analysis.
• Act as a strategic business partner, providing financial and commercial insight to support decision-making and profitability.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, resolve operational challenges, and improve business performance across the organization.
• Design and implement scalable processes, systems, and controls to support growth.
• Support integrations, acquisitions, greenfield operations, and transformation projects.
• Lead the governance, execution, and performance monitoring of strategic projects across Portugal, ensuring delivery against objectives, timelines, budgets, and business priorities.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, Master's degree, CPA, ACCA, ROC, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Progressive Finance leadership experience with the technical depth to lead a Finance function and partner effectively with senior business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese accounting, tax, statutory reporting, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Proven expertise in financial planning & analysis, business partnering, performance management, cash flow, and working capital management.
• Demonstrated ability to operate beyond a traditional Finance remit, influencing business-wide decisions and leading cross-functional execution.
• Experience in process redesign, business transformation, ERP implementations, integrations, acquisitions, or scale-up environments is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable building structures, processes, and capabilities from the ground up in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
