The Finance & Operations Controller is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of finance and operations, supporting the day-to-day financial controlling, reporting, and administrative activities that keep the business running smoothly.

Description

• Prepare and validate invoices, timesheets, and related documentation
• Assist with daily financial controlling activities
• Support estimations preparation and cost control analysis
• Track project and customer profitability
• Assist with monthly closing processes and subsequent reporting
• Support payroll-related control and reconciliation processes
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Support cash flow monitoring and liquidity planning
• Assist with tax and VAT documentation preparation
• Support the improvement of internal financial procedures and reporting routines
• Provide administrative support to engineering department managers
• General administrative and financial support to management when needed

Profile

• Higher education (minimum bachelor) in Finance, Accounting or related fields
• 2+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or operations support role
• Solid understanding of financial controlling and reporting processes
• Familiarity with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and VAT documentation
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial or ERP tools
• Fluent English speaker
• Experience in an engineering, consulting, or professional services environment will be valued
• Familiarity with project-based billing and cost control is a plus
