About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping and laundry teams in a prestigious 5*L hotel. Reporting to the Director of Lifestyle, you will oversee both in-house operations and outsourced staff (housekeepers and porters), ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

·        Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager in setting and maintaining high cleanliness standards for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

·        Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry personnel, and housekeeping supervisors.

·        Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.

·        Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure efficient coverage and timely room turnovers.

·        Oversee the procurement and management of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities.

·        Implement effective stock control measures to minimize waste and control costs.

·        Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback on staff development.

·        Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget, considering labor, supplies, and equipment.

·        Work with event planners to coordinate housekeeping services for special events.

·        Ensure timely fulfillment of guest requests for additional services or amenities.

·        Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure that rooms are in optimal condition.

·        Oversee and schedule repairs and maintenance activities in collaboration with the engineering department.

·        Monitor service quality, address issues promptly, and ensure continuous improvement.

·        Manage department budgets, supplies, linen, guest amenities, and contractor costs.

·        Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.

·        Train and motivate outsourced teams to uphold the hotel’s brand values and service excellence.

·        Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.


Perfil do Candidato

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial housekeeping role in luxury or 5-star hotels.
  • Proven experience managing outsourced staff and contractors.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
  • Proficient with hotel management systems (Opera PMS is mandatory).
  • Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
