Black Cat Cinema Event Staff

Salary: 8€ hourly. On freelancer basis.

Working hours: From 7h to 10h per event, 3 to 5 days a week.

Location: Working from different venues in central Lisbon.

About us & who we're looking for

We know that cinema is best when it's shared! Black Cat is reimagining the movie-going experience as a chance to connect, build memories, and invest time in great entertainment with amazing people. We're on a mission to make the cinema your favourite night out.

Since launching in 2021 we've hosted around 200 open-air shows, with 35,000+ visitors, and inhabited some of the city's most enigmatic locations. Most importantly, we have had some amazing people join us on our team. People full of the energy, smiles, and enthusiasm that make our events come alive, and who our customers love to meet again and again! If that sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!

Aims of the role:

• Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with others and has strong interpersonal skills. Someone who takes pride in creating a great event, and leaving other people with happy memories! Roles rotate each night and in addition to it, event staff will likely be on their feet for the duration of an event and need a certain level of energy and enthusiasm to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and scanning tickets
• Providing high levels of customer service
• Setting up chairs and stage
• Helping to set up lighting equipment and decoration
• Bar: Set up and service (some experience is appreciated)
• Effectively operating cash register systems
• Facilitating the proper organization and cleanliness of venues
• Inventory inspection
• Event packing after the event
