MAN Truck & Bus, a leading European commercial vehicle manufacturer and part of the TRATON Group, is launching a new Global Business Services (GBS) organization structured around three core pillars: Operations, Global Process Ownership, and Strategy & Performance Management.

Your Role

As ESG Process & Systems Lead, you take end to end responsibility for the design, standardization, and digital enablement of ESG processes across the MAN Group.

You act as a bridge between ESG requirements, business functions, and IT, translating regulatory and business needs into scalable, well governed processes and systems. With a strong focus on process quality, controls, and audit readiness, you ensure that ESG processes are not only compliant, but efficient, robust, and future proof.

Your Responsibilities

Process Design & Optimization

• Design and own end to end ESG processes, including clear roles, responsibilities, governance structures, and interfaces across the group.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement to ensure scalability, efficiency, and consistent data quality across entities.

Digitalization & IT Enablement

• Translate ESG and regulatory requirements into functional process and system requirements.
• Act as the key interface between ESG, business functions, IT, and external implementation partners during the design and rollout of ESG tools.
• Drive automation, digitalization, and the use of AI to enhance data collection, validation, controls, and reporting processes.

Governance, Controls & Audit Readiness

• Design and maintain ESG process documentation, controls, and governance frameworks to ensure transparency and audit readiness.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring traceability, documentation, and effective controls across ESG processes.

Your profile

Professional Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in process management, business transformation, sustainability/ESG, finance, reporting, analytics, or consulting, ideally with exposure to end to end process design and system implementations.
• Experience acting as an interface between business and IT (e.g. requirements engineering, system rollouts, process design) is highly valued.
• Background in audit, finance, industrial environments, or management consulting is a strong plus.

Process, Digital & Governance Mindset

• Strong process orientation with a proven ability to design structured, scalable, and well governed processes.
• Solid understanding of governance, controls, documentation, and audit requirements.
• High interest in digitalization, automation, and AI - not from a technical perspective, but as levers for better processes and data quality.

Tools & Systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power Tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or SAP BW is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and team spirit, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive and independent working style, combined with a structured and adaptable mindset.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast evolving regulatory and digital environment.

Languages

• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
