Description

The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage a software development team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate software engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Develop technical strategies and solutions to meet business needs in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
• Monitor team performance and provide mentorship to enhance skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development with organizational objectives.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in software engineering and development processes.
• Oversee resource allocation and budget management for ongoing and future projects.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into the development lifecycle when appropriate.

Profile

A successful Software Engineering Manager should have:

• Willing to work in an Industrial/Manufacturing Setting.
• Proven experience in software architecture/software engineering management roles or IT product owner.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools oriented to embebed software/desktop development.
• Skilled in C++ Development and GIT;
• Leadership and team management skills within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application to product development.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese knowledge is a plus.
