The Finance Manager French Speaker will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Description
1. Accounts Payable Management (France):
- Be the hands-on manager of this team made of 7 people
- Oversee end-to-end AP processes for all French subsidiaries, whether performed locally or within the SSC
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Supervise AP teams, defining priorities, workload distribution, and KPIs
- Implement continuous improvements and automation initiatives to optimize AP efficiency and compliance
- Coordinate closely with French HQ finance teams, procurement, and business stakeholders.
2. Oversight of Other SSC Finance Activities:
Supervise and monitor the quality and performance of:
- GL accounting for UK and Spanish entities
- GL support provided to French entities
- Procurement operations
- Group Management Controlling (as the SSC scope expands)
- Ensure all activities comply with Group policies, local GAAPs, and internal controls
- Establish reporting routines, dashboards, and performance indicators across these functions.
Profile
- A Master's degree in Finance, economics or related field, you have 10 years' experience, including at least 5 years in managing a team
- Fluent in French and good level of English
- You are rigorous and dynamic, with strong analytical skills. A good communicator (both written and oral) and caring, you can naturally convey your ideas to your team and internal contacts
- You are proficient in Excel and SAP.
