Your new mission

• Initially work as the Head of Development and Engineering to execute on a vision to build a brand new auto finance platform

• Has recent and demonstrable hands on experience of working on websites, web-applications, middleware and REST APIs using .NET Core, C# and SQL Server

• Is keen to develop their understanding and ability to leverage PaaS services in Microsoft Azure

• Get involved at all stages of the software development lifecycle as part of a cross-functioning team, and additionally with external partner technology teams

• Be instrumental in driving the architecture and design of the software products being developed by the team

• Be a part of a small, close-knit and Agile team working on a wide range of activities to get new business and products up and running

• Work closely with the core founding team and subsequently with data scientists, analysts and product owners to deliver early business value through a launch platform

• Provide guidance and steer to senior, mid and junior developers

• Provide a framework for your growing development team which includes:

- coding standards

- working best practices with peers and team members outside of the development team

- baseline templates for developer documentation

- help and guidelines for developers using technologies within our stack

 - Identify, hire, manage and develop engineers that may have unproven potential into improving their engineering capability

• You will be a hybrid hands-on / hands-off head of development due to the size of the business, it is important you are able to 'muck in' when needed.

• Experience of designing, developing, deploying and supporting websites, web-applications and middleware components/services using a range of technologies.

• Excellent management skills, someone that can inspire people to perform, keep focused on tasks and achieve the product development timelines.

• Awareness of best practices around developing secure software

• Ability to do coding of both back end and front end responsive sites.

• Ability to perform the tasks independently.

• Ability to perform requirement elicitation and estimate the effort accordingly.

• Ability to analyze the gaps in the existing code and design by comparing it with the requirements.

• Good Analytical, Problem Solving.

• Results and Detail-Oriented with the Ability to Manage and Execute Multiple Tasks.

What you need to be suceed

• Understanding of Web Concepts.

• Good at Communication.

• A big plus would be to have an MBA (Not necessary)

• Good Interpersonal and Analytical Skills. Collaboration

• Collaborates with team; shares relevant information

• Participates in formal or informal group problem solving for immediate issues.

• BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA (or any relevant engineering educational field).

• Candidates who completed graduation or post-graduation in the academic batch of 2018/2019 are eligible.

• .Net, Understanding of ASP.NET, Page/Request life cycle.

• HTML, JavaScript, CSS.

• Good OOPs concept and its implementation.

• Understanding of AJAX.
