Job Summary: The E-commerce Manager is responsible for driving the hotel's online revenue by managing all digital sales channels, optimizing the booking experience, and ensuring strong online visibility. This role oversees the hotel website, booking engine, OTAs, and metasearch platforms, ensuring accurate content, competitive pricing, and effective promotional strategies. Working closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Reservations teams, the E-commerce Manager analyzes performance data, enhances digital campaigns, and develops strategies to increase direct bookings and improve overall online performance.



Key Responsibilities:

·        Develop and implement the hotel’s e-commerce and distribution strategy to maximize direct bookings and online revenue;

·        Manage all online sales channels, including the hotel website, booking engines, OTAs (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) and metasearch platforms.

·        Optimize room availability, pricing, and promotions across all digital channels;

·        Oversee order fulfilment and logistics to ensure efficient delivery and customer satisfaction;

·        Analyze online performance metrics, including conversion rates, website traffic, booking patterns, and channel performance;

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, IT, customer service;

·        Manage online promotions and campaigns, including seasonal sales and product;

·        Monitor competition and market trends to identify opportunities and improvements;

·        Ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations.


Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field;

·        Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the hospitality industry;

·        Strong understanding of OTA platforms, booking engines, and channel management systems;

·        Knowledge of digital marketing tools;

·        Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data;

·        Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills;

·        Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects;

·        Strong communication and teamwork skills;

·        Portuguese and English languages (additional languages are a plus).
