At Inetum, we're looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of our database systems, while working on exciting and impactful projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Install and configure DB2 databases;
• Diagnose, analyze, and monitor operational issues, implementing effective solutions;
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity;
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries to ensure efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in DB2 database administration;
• Solid experience with DB2 UDB, and familiarity with Sybase, Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL;
• Proficiency in Performance Analysis and Tuning;
• Advanced troubleshooting and monitoring capabilities;
• Good knowledge of IBM AIX, Windows Server, and Linux environments;
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to different project contexts;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Workplace type: Hybrid (max. of 3 times per week in the office);
• Location: Lisbon.
