Our client is a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, committed to innovation and operational excellence across all continents. They are expanding their Data & Analytics team in Portugal and looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in Airflow to support key initiatives related to data orchestration and platform enhancement.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows within the data orchestration platform (Airflow). Youll collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams across the organization to ensure a scalable, efficient, and secure data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Airflow DAGs for complex data pipelines
• Monitor and improve platform performance, availability, and documentation
• Ensure consistency with data governance, privacy, and best practices
• Collaborate with users to support usage and onboarding of data orchestration
• Lead platform upgrades and deployment tasks
• Document and maintain platform configuration, architecture, and usage

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with Airflow (mandatory)
• Experience with AWS, Python, dbt, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of data platforms Data Lake, Data Mart, Data Warehouse
• Excellent communication in English
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability
