We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join an exciting and challenging project in Porto, working within the Quantitative Data Intelligence Team!

What You'll Do:

• Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources;
• Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines;
• Understand and be the point of contact for the business and assess its needs;
• Ensure architecture meets business requirements;
• Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value;
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including data analysts, product managers, and business leaders;
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

What You Will Need To Bring:

• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields;
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture;
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas);
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI;
• Ability to analyze, synthesize, and simplify complex data;
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus;
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Pyspark, Presto, Airflow) is a plus;
• Familiarity with Power Query and DAX is a plus;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
• Fluency in English.
