Your New Role:

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value business problems that can be addressed through data processing and analytical systems.
• Assist in designing, building, and supporting a new cloud-based analytics platform for the business.
• Serve as a leading and professional member of the Data Engineering Team.
• Provide support to other teams, including data scientists and data operations analysts.
• Understand business requirements and help refine them into development tasks, estimating their complexity.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies with a "right tool for the job" mentality.
• Focus on both speed of delivery and quality, ensuring solutions are appropriate and not overly complex or over-engineered.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Degree in relevant fields such as Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on SQL and Microsoft Azure tools (DataBricks, Data Factory, DevOps).
• Experience with ETL vs. ELT processes.
• Knowledge of Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Fluent in English.
