Project in the Air Transport Sector | Join Our Clients Architecture Team

Were looking for a Data Architect to join the architecture team of our client, working on a strategic project in the air transport sector. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week onsite, offering the perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration.

Job Purpose

As a Data Architect, youll work closely with stakeholders across IT and business functions to define and implement a unified technology architecture. Youll guide the long-term direction of data architecture and ensure that projects align with strategic goals and deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain conceptual and logical data structures across business domains.
• Collaborate with project and product teams to align integration platforms and data architecture.
• Present and defend architectural solutions at governance boards.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in systems design, security, and performance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in data modelling (conceptual to physical) using tools like Erwin or ER Studio.
• Deep knowledge of data & integration architecture APIs, event-driven systems, data lakes, data mesh, data warehousing, etc.
• Familiarity with AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Experience with Data Catalog and Data Quality tools.
• Solid understanding of emerging data technologies.
• Comfortable working with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
• Expertise in governance and assurance for enterprise data.
• Strong grasp of software design principles, patterns, and performance optimization.
• Business-oriented, creative, pragmatic, and a positive team player.
