AnalytiChem is seeking a Junior Compliance Specialist.


This role will be located in our office in Portugal, Porto with a hybrid work schedule.


You will make a difference to our governance environment and future growth agenda by joining us and taking responsibility for the following areas:


  • Oversee and direct all compliance activities within Europe and North America.
  • Spearhead the adoption, oversight, and refinement of the organization-wide compliance frameworks, including but not limited to Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Gifts and Hospitality, Ethics Code, Conflicts of Interest, and whistleblowing protocols.
  • Monitoring compliance, updating policies according to evolving regulations and best practices
  • Provide advice to various departments and regional leadership on compliance-related matters.
  • Design, organize, and deliver comprehensive internal training sessions on compliance and export control
  • Ensuring and implementing Internal directives and guidelines.
  • Monitoring our Export Compliance Process and Sanction list tool activities.
  • Ensuring a training schedule and always up- to date follow up on Export Compliance process and escalations.



Requirements & Profile:


  • A degree in law or a related field, with a preference for candidates who have a comprehensive understanding and interest of compliance law
  • Between 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on Compliance matters
  • Knowledge of national and international export control regulations, including EU export control regulations and US export regulations
  • A genuine interest in navigating compliance challenges and advising team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A team player capable of thriving in a multidisciplinary, global team environment.
  • Fluent in English, with good communication skills suitable for a global setting.
