We are seeking a Cash Collections to join the Accounting & Finance department within the professional services industry. The role involves managing collections processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring effective follow-up of outstanding balances, timely collection of payments, and the resolution of account-related queries and disputes;
  • Customer & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and collaborating to resolve issues, minimise overdue debt, and enhance the overall customer experience;
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Monitor aged debt, analyse payment trends and discrepancies, perform account reconciliations, and provide accurate reporting on collection performance and account status;
  • Process Optimisation & Data Management: Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions while contributing to the continuous improvement of collections processes, controls, and operational efficiency;

Profile

The Successful Applicant:

  • Experience & Finance Knowledge: Experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or a similar finance-related role, supported by a understanding of collections processes and accounts receivable management;
  • Languages & Technical Skills: Fluency in French (C1/C2 mandatory) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Portuguese and/or English will be considered an advantage;
  • Communication & Relationship Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders;
  • Analytical & Personal Competencies: Analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with attention to detail, organisational skills, adaptability, autonomy, and the capacity to perform effectively in fast-paced and demanding environments;
