Business Development Manager - Lisbon (Spain & Portugal)
CLIENT
Linum Consult's client is a leading international design & build contractor, delivering large-scale industrial, logistics, and commercial projects across Europe. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and turnkey delivery, they are continuing their expansion in Southern Europe and are now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Spain and Portugal, based in Lisbon.
THE ROLE
This is a high-impact, client-facing role focused on winning and developing major construction opportunities across Iberia.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the full business development lifecycle, from market analysis through to contract signature
- Identifying and securing new opportunities with international and local clients expanding across Spain and Portugal
- Building and maintaining a strong network of developers, investors, and key decision-makers
- Developing and executing strategic account plans aligned with regional growth objectives
- Representing the company at industry events and within key business networks
- Collaborating closely with technical and delivery teams to shape competitive and value-driven proposals
- Structuring and negotiating design & build contracts, ensuring commercial and technical alignment
PROFILE
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or similar
- 10+ years' experience in business development within design & build / EPC environments
- Proven track record of winning large-scale turnkey construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction markets, legislation, and commercial structures in Iberia
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with English
- EU work eligibility
